Description
This inaugural edition of blume emerged following a conversation about the desire for more collaborative autonomy within the visual arts. As a photographer, a photo editor and an architect, we’ve sought to create a platform that explores our shared passion for contemporary photography and visual culture, while bringing together our combined interest in studying the relationships between people, place and space in a global context. Having originally met in Kathmandu in 2015, we’re now based between London and Hamburg, and regularly meet both physically and virtually to discuss new work. This issue seeks to experiment with a collective approach to editorial curation; presenting visual narratives that explore the world around us, while remaining open to alternative interpretation.
